1. Sculpting and Slimming the face involves two key principles: Dark shades recede features back while light shades bring features forward. This simple rule should help you understand what I'm about to teach you...

2. Get amazing cheekbones: Using your brush, sweep over the darker side of the compact and tap off the excess. Apply with sweeping movements under your cheekbone into the ‘hollow’ of your cheeks. Suck in your cheekbones to make an ‘O’ if you need a little help. Now use the lighter side to sweep pigment onto the highest part of your cheekbones.

3. Fake a thinner nose: swipe a darker powder down the sides of the bridge of your nose (stop before you get to the nostrils). Blend lighter down the bridge of your nose in a vertical line.

4. To slim a double chin: apply the dark shade along the very edge of your jawline and a little underneath to define the area. Blend the shade to create a seamless contour downwards into the neck.

5. Get lifted eyes: apply a sweep of the darker shade into the socket. Now apply the light shade onto the lid and the brow bone.

5. Make a forehead smaller: sweep the darker shade along the hairline and temples to create a shadow effect.
